ULEZ is a complete cash grab anyone who lets say is missing the ability to critically think or do any research Khan had a university in london do the research their first draft with no lies said ULEZ would make a negligable difference meaning it was completely pointless then he paid them eight hundred thousand pounds to change their wording as it didn't support his BS this is proven facts when the air calculators did not show that it was bad due to it not being so the sensors where moved and he closed many minor roads in london to cause congestion and fudge the numbers everyone who has done any research knows this but we still let them get away with this curruption because as a country we have become so spineless we let them take everything from us with lies is that not great huh?

Lovely car, I had a Austin Maestro 1600 HLS back in the day, nippy reliable car. Sadly got rear ended and written off.

A proper MG made in the UK 100% better than the wannabe MGs built in China they will no be around in 30 years time as with this MG Metro as for that BMW 900 there was a production motorcycle race for production motorcycles and one of these won the race for that year the race was called the Castrol 6 hour held Amaroo park N.S.W then later to Oran park

Still looks good. It's like a 1970 Range Rover in that it's clean, classic and timeless. It drove way better than any of it's competition in 1974 too. A pity VAG can't make anything as reliable these days!

I always enjoy "barn find" videos, particularly finding out the back stories behind why they were parked up for so long and getting some insight into the former owner's life. I must say both the Maestro and motorbike were obviously well looked after and it was good they were stored in a garage that was in good shape. If Paul doesn't hold onto them, I hope both the Maestro and the bike go to a good home and get back on the road again.

Alcester, in Warwickshire, is about 50 miles from Stafford, in er, Staffordshire. Between them is that little place called Birmingham! 😂

I would really love to have this car, i used to have one just like it in white too, though it was on an older "D" plate.

It's always worth checking the Air Cleaner Box...to ensure no Mice have built Nests in there....to avoid the nest bits getting sucked into the engine...they notoriously build nests in air cleaner boxes and air intake pipes.

My car history is 1976 Clubman Estate, then hearing aid Beige Fiesta, then, fanfare! "C" reg MG Maestro EFi, black Loved it. As you say underrated by the press, but it was fairly quick, I loved it

Deep Heat albums were cool I've still got several on vinyl. They were compilation albums of indie rave stuff late 80s early 90s.

Your original wheels and tyres are terrible. 19” are just too big.

I had a White MG Maestro exactly like that one, it was a 1989 G Reg. I owned 3 MG Maestro's back in the day, but always wanted a Turbo.

Love it. Had an 88 MG Maestro 2.0i, was a brilliant car and way better than my mates Astra GTE. I would love another, but the logistics of getting this one to the States counts it out (plus no a/c). I hope you do the detailing video of it, I would love to see how it cleans up. Good luck with the sale.

Loved this, thanks guys. Had an early C reg one in Moonraker Blue, brilliant underrated hot hatch and with power steering to reduce lock from 4 to 3 turns it was reputed by the motoring press to be just about the best hot hatch - hard to believe of a Maestro, but true. Took mine down to Italy on holiday, had it sat at 130 mph (on the overreading speedo) for hours on the autobahn - exactly matching a Mk1 & Mk2 Golf GTI, who probably wondered what the hell is was.

Inflicted more damage to that bonnet than all the years it was on the road!🤡😳🤬

Loved these cars, had the 1.6 carburetted version, my neighbour had the 2.0l EFI. Lovely to drive and fast enough to have fun. Even had the talking dashboard, which thankfully had a mute button.
